Happens for a Reason (Everything) by Ava Rose

This beautiful string-filled track is accompanied by inspirational lyrics about taking life as it comes and staying present. As someone who relates to feeling stressed and a bit overwhelmed by the unknown, this song is like a warm hug “that just might change everything”. Listen to it repeatedly with a warm cup of tea and your favorite blanket for best results.

Black and Blue by Maria Lane

This traditional country track features a dreamy pedal-steel guitar and ethereal vocals depicting how to cope with emotional pain. It’s truly a beautiful song that you can sink into like a warm bath, as you let your troubles be carried away by the gorgeous vocal harmonies and the atmospheric studio mix. If you’ve been looking for a relaxing song to help you calm down, this one is just the thing.

Killing the Blues by Teni Rane

For a folk song about the changing seasons and different times of life, this song is just the ticket. With more delicately-placed strings and insightful lyrics about coping with different struggles, there’s so much to love. You can relax in the comforting acoustic guitar in the background, and reflect on your own life and the things that you can change for the better. At the end of the day, it’s all about giving yourself grace and being reminded that every lesson teaches you something valuable, even if it’s a struggle to get through.

Wildflowers by Jennifer Silva

Sonic sparkles adorn this girl-powered track all about being brave enough to chase your dreams. I absolutely love all the textures and different rhythms in this song that even has some subtle jazz influences. For a new motivational piece that also fuels your spirit and helps you reach your goals, listen to this song loudly and often - and pretty soon, your success will bloom.

1000 Times by Dan Houtz

I love the style of this song that reminds listeners to be brave and speak their mind. With vocal sensibilities that reminded me of Nickelback or Chris Daughtry, there’s a lot of nostalgia attached to this gritty alt-rock style. Bonus points for nice percussive moments in between the phrases representing what it’s like to have a busy brain that just can’t settle down. I also appreciate the sonic dynamics and creative nuances between the different sections of the song.
