Five Things We’re Excited For at Cascade Equinox Festival

It’s just 8 weeks away from the Cascade Equinox festival at the Deschutes County Fairground in Central Oregon! There’s lots of anticipation as we move closer to the festival, so we’ve compiled a list of our top five things that we're looking forward to!
This is the inaugural Cascade Equinox!
Not only is it the first time this festival will be running, it’s also the first of its kind and size in Central Oregon. This area is already super into live music, art and food so it’s about time we can all come together and jam out together. Each festival has its own vibe that makes it unique and we can already tell this one is going to be special, as it’s put on by Gem and Jam and 4 Peaks Presents. The festival will also be held at the Deschutes Fairgrounds, which if you love mountains, will be a magical sight to see. We will be surrounded with a view of magical mountains and trees, to really enjoy the beauty of Central Oregon.
The festival is during the autumn equinox!
The festival will be held on September 22-24th, 2023. The fall equinox is on Fri, Sep 22, 2023, 11:49 PM, which ends the summer season and gets closer to the end of 2023. Festival season will be slowing down, the air will be getting cooler, and the seasonal activities will begin. We think this is such a beautiful time of year, and we’re looking forward to welcoming a new season and closing one out with a bunch of beautiful music, art, and humans.
Experiencing the magic of Central Oregon!
If you’ve ever been to Central Oregon - you know how excited we get about local food and beer (and cocktails). We’re stoked to see what vendors will be at the festival, and even more stoked to try them all out! We don’t have the vendor list yet, but stay tuned. We know it’s gonna be good.
Discovering new artists!
This is a given for any festival we go to, but we’re really excited for this one. There’s a huge variety of genres at Cascade Equinox, so even just from walking around taking it all in, everyone will be bound to discover a new jam they are into.
The official return of Pretty Lights!
After a 5 year hiatus, Pretty Lights is returning to the festival scene. With a huge influence and following, fans have been awaiting his return to be able to see his unique and curated sets. He is going on a tour, and headlining a few festivals, and most importantly, will be at Cascade Equinox. We can’t wait to experience “a new vision of PL music and live events”, as he stated on his Twitter in April.
